5 Productivity Tips for Mompreneur's Working from Home

5 Productivity tips for a mom/business owner Working from Home

  • Prioritize--I am not the neatest nor an organized being. I adhere to the description of “Organize Chaos” and it works for me. However, I do like making lists, tasks, or notes though they aren’t linear because I am not linear. I am a mom, entrepreneur, writer, coach, wife, and so much more. So prioritizing by attending to all of me by way of a list is imperative for me.

  • Time Management--Again, I am not great at this but I do my best. I analyze my list, and decipher which activity can be executed quickly and efficiently. The objective is to see as many checkmarks on the list as possible.

  • Focus--Set boundaries with yourself, your family; especially if there are children around, so that the focus is driven to the specific task.

  • Recess-- Creative writing, coaching and serving as a spiritual medium can take a lot out of me and breaks in between to re-align, re-establish my boundaries, and clearing my energy to sustain the day.

  • Shut down--Before I start tackling the day, I set a time to shut down. I prepare mentally so that when the clock does reach that commited hour, I do shut it all the way down.
